DESCRIPTION

MYCOPOWER BIO REISHI – GANODERMA LUCIDUM – STALKED LACQUER MUSHROOM

This Mycopower mushroom is a vegetarian and gluten-free food supplement and carries the European ECO BIO quality mark. The very popular Reishi is available in loose powder, powder capsules and as extract capsules.

Origin, growth and use of the Reishi mushroom
The stalked lacquer fungus is a particularly beautiful mushroom that grows on trees and wood. When someone looks at a Reishi mushroom you would hardly believe that it is real, because the fruiting body of the Reishi mushroom is completely covered with a remarkably shiny layer of resin. After harvesting, it is traditionally dried, ground and used as a tea. Reishi has been highly valued as a beneficial mushroom throughout Asia for thousands of years and, in addition to its medical value, is also used as a symbol of good luck. Nowadays it is grown almost exclusively for the production of beneficial mushrooms. Due to its firm consistency, Reishi is mainly consumed in Europe as Reishi extract or Reishi powder.

As a typical tree fungus, the glossy Reishi prefers deciduous trees and can therefore be grown well on tree trunks. As a saprobiont, it uses dead organic matter as food and thus contributes to a closed cycle in the ecosystem. In traditional Chinese medicine, he is seen as the 'king of mushrooms' or as the 'immortality mushroom'. This already shows its broad potential, which can be traced mainly to the polysaccharides and tripertoes. Analyses of the ingredients show that the stalked lacquer fungus contains a large arsenal of medically interesting ingredients.

Ingredients
Reishi contains numerous vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron and other vital substances. In addition, an analysis of the constituents shows that Reishi is particularly rich in polysaccharides, in particular the high-quality beta-glucans (a particular form of polysaccharides) which are characteristic of the mushroom. Many of these ingredients are vital for a human organism and that makes the Reishi a valuable dietary supplement. So far, more than 130 different triterpenes have been identified in the Reishi. Many of them are extremely active and have important biological functions. They are also responsible for Reishi's slightly bitter taste.

Reishi Powder Capsules
Conventional mushroom powder capsules. Each capsule contains 500mg of pure and natural Reishi powder. The mushroom body is gently ground into a fine powder. The grain size of Mycopower mushroom powder is less than 0.125 mm after processing and therefore has an exceptionally high quality and bioavailability. The finer the powder, the more intensive the bioavailability of the active ingredients.
